greig (75), Hamilton, New Zealand Aug 17, 2007 On tap at the Twisted Hop in Christchurch. An incredible and unique aroma. Possibly the sharpest hop aroma I’ve smelled in a beer. A good solid IPA, though perhaps a little harsh on the palate. I like it, though others might not, due to the intense bitterness and hop profile. Good, just a little lacking in subtlety.
OJB (22), Dunedin, New Zealand May 4, 2007 Slightly cloudy, pale amber yellow orange colour, with a light creamy head. The aroma had strong crisp citrus lemon and orange. The taste was smooth with citrus orange nuttiness and malt. There was a very crisp hoppy bitter finish. This was an intensly flavoured with strong bitter hops. bozoNZ (393), Christchurch, New Zealand Jan 22, 2007 On tap 21/01/07 at Black Creek Cafe next to brewery. Tan/gold colour, nice full even head. Huge floral nose. Full bodied palate, warm big hops. Very complex flavors given the robust nature - toffees a bit of char too. Long finish, I liked it.
