Sweet entry, mellowing to a smooth bready finish. 17thfloor (1498), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 10, 2008 22oz Bottles. Settled bread-like nose, with a light punch of caraway. Some Black Russian Bagel in there for sure. Pours a vibrantly clear red-brown, with a thin rim in off-white. Flavor is relatively mild. A gentle sway of brown sugar, toasted pumpernickel, malt sugars, bright alcohols and a faint cast of hops on the backend. Sweet, but some of the spicy sharpness from the rye and the alcohol balances. A nice west-coast hop character draws finish. Respectable. Thanks much Sean! MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
