duff (5403), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Apr 4, 2008 Bottle. Sweet, malty. BUt more a raw malt flavour. Dry, nutty and woody, but not particularly drinkable. Finish is short. Not too much happening.
motelpogo (4111), Plzen, Czech Republic Oct 16, 2007 bottled. copperish, aroma of honey and rye. tasted exclusively like weet bix with honey on top. which means it was quite ok downender (1434), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Jul 28, 2007 Bottle from Der Treffpunkt, Nurnberg HBF. This didn’t do it for me. Amber with an off-white head. A slightly malty flavour. Watery in the mouth, with some fruity malt and very little finish. Dull. pivnizub (3600), Porúří, Germany Feb 28, 2007 Bottle: Amber, hazy, small and quickly collapsing white head; ESTERY;BARNYARDY NOSE with the addition of a bit sweet roasted malt and the faintest illusion of hops; light bodied, delicate sweet-bitter flavour; faint sweet-bitter flavour with a little acidity. Poor by franconian standards...... MoritzF (3638), Ruhrpott, Germany Feb 18, 2007 (bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a short frothy white head. Dusty, light sweet malty, slightly toasted aroma with barnyard esters and a touch of acidity. Light sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Initially malty, slightly toasted taste with minimal notes of caramel and diacetyl on a shy herbal hoppy background; Moderately dry, malty, slightly sour finish, quite slim with a faint bitterness. A bit unclean and mediocre.
