Commercial Description:
Brewed by Atlanta Brewing Company exclusively for Jim 'N Nicks Bar-B-Q Restaurants. This American style Golden Ale distinguishes itself from the rest of the litter with a well balanced flavor, smooth body, and crisp finish. Made from all-natural ingredients, crystal hops, and three distinct types of malted barley. Mudbone is a golden you'll always find faithful and true.

Pours a clear orangy amber with a thin white head. Aroma is crisp and malty and has a hint of citrus, mainly orange. Malty flavor has an undertone of orange and a little hoppy bitterness. Texture is milk-smooth, and leaves a nice subtle tingle on the way down.

Served up at the Atlanta Brewing Company when I managed to sneak away from the PC&E sound stage one evening. Appearance: Clear, effervescent, medium blonde body with a creamy-ish, white head. Smell: Plenty of light hop accents, some floral, fruity, and even grassy notes set against a light maltiness. Taste: Mild pale malts, a touch of grains, and a light sweetness. All the hop components from the nose transition into the flavor. Medium, perky bitterness. Small rebound of malts on the tail end of the sip. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A reasonably tasty, easily drinkable beer that should pair up well with whatever a BBQ joint can throw at it, be it a pulled pork sandwich or Brunswick stew.

Draft @ Murfreesboro’s Jim ’N Nick’s location. Golden in the glass with a creamy white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves good lacing. Surprisingly hoppy citrus aroma. The flavor finds hoppy lemon citrus with a wheat and floral backing. Light body, crisp finish, medium bitterness throughout. Paired well with the pulled pork sandwich with jobanero bar-b-q sauce. Very hopped out for a blonde but a very nice surprise!
