Bottle: Amber coloured, quite firm off-white head, lacing; (sweet-)malty nose with a tinge of molasses and cardboard; quite sweet, slightly bitter flavour, rather "thick" and sticky; distinctive bitter-fruity finish, molasses again; not unpleasant, but kind of unharmonic, too malty, too "thick"..........

Medium offwhite head. Pretty brown body. Roasty bready malty aroma with earthy notes. Dry roasty caramelly taste with buttery notes. Faint sweetness. A bit watery. Dry roasty straw aftertaste with light acidity and some paper notes. It’s OK. (0.5l bottle from gr0ve.)

Bottle. Fine amber glow. Fruity sweet, dry finish. Thin, rather short finish, but actually quite decent for the style.

500 ml bottle. Clear, dark amber to copper colored. Thin beige head quickly fading to a filmy layer of foam. Light roasted, nutty malt aroma. A whiff of earthy hops, caramel and dried dark fruits. Medium sweet malt flavor. Dark fruits and earthy hops again, also some peppery notes with a touch of berries and sour bread. Quite light-bodied. Sourish-malty, failntly bitter ending.

Bottle. Pale amber color, thin head. Fresh malty aroma with some fruit and spice. Toasted bread, some vegetables, plum. Some phenolics, reminding of a belgian ale. Slightly spicy and floral hops. Clean, dry, malty taste, biscuity and bready. Clean and dry hoppy finish. Overall clean, dry, malty with slight bitter finish.
