Deep brown ... light smokey roast malts ... deep woody again lighty smoked roast malts. wheresthepath (325), Buckinghamshire, England Sep 28, 2008 [500ml bottle from Tesco Haverfordwest] Black with russet hints and a slight cream head. Loads of chocolate and brown sugar, with some coffee and smoke in there too. Slightly sticky and metallic aftertaste detracts from what is otherwise an excellent mild. reakt (880), Greater London, England Mar 30, 2007 Updated: Sep 2, 2007cask @ london drinker 07. Deep mahogany, no head. Roasted malts and chestnuts in the nose. Smokey flavour. Tastes like bbq ribs.
