Dark amber with a short head. Mixed floral fruity scent. Quite watery and carbonated. Malt biscuit overtones. Some vegetables on the end. Nothing special.

Dec 8, 2009 Cask @ GBBF 2009. Rating #4700. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma with some weak hoppy hints. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Clear medium yellow amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, roasted, moderate hoppy, lemon - lime. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090806]

Nov 21, 2009 Botlle from waitrose Monmouth. Dark amber colour good off white head with lacing on the glass. Fruity malt aroma. Nice taste of malt quite thick and a bit bitter

Aug 30, 2009 bottle, Waitrose Abergavenny. Clear deep golden colour, mid-sized fluffy head. Aroma of malts, bitter and perfumy hops and smoke. Full-bodied, bitter-sweet with a touch of smoke, reminding me of Bamberg smoked beers. Hints of caramel and toffee with a lingering hoppy finish. Very good!
