Spicy with a lot of caramel and a touch of graininess. Finish is sweet slightly sour, peppery, and a bit hot.

On tap at the brewpub on 02/23/2009. Clear reddish amber body with a medium creamy off-white head and some sticky lacing. Sweet sugary fruit aroma with some light belgian spice. Slightly tart fruit flavor with lots of sugar and some light belgian spice. Medium body with moderately low carbonation but somewhat alcoholic. 7/3/6/3/13 - 3.2

Mar 14, 2009 Sampled on draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange copper color with a medium head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus, toffee and earthy malts. Taste is very tart with earthy and toffee notes. Full bodied.
