Richbrau Attack of the Bloob Blueberry Wheat Ale

Thanks to maniac for the bottle! Pours a hazy reddish color with a pink head, almost disconcerting. Aroma is of blueberry pancakes. Flavor is tart blueberries, followed by a touch of sugary grain, and a finish of fruity bubblegum. Not horrible, but not quite my thing either. The sour note really helped this one.

This beer is sort of a brick-ish reddish color. It has a fruity, sweet blueberry muffin aroma. It tastes buttery with a slightly blueberry flavor that’s just a touch sour.

An interesting beer, body is of a blueberry juice color with a small colored head. Aroma is slighlty buttery and fruity. Taste is rather nice, and lacking in the diacetyl. Blueberry, wheat, hops, very nice overall. Semi-sweet and dry ending.

Cloudy brown body with a small creamy white head. Sweet blueberry aroma with a noticable wheat background. Flavor of light blueberries with some wheat in the end.
