Expected more sweetness on the taste. Thick and sticky mouthfeel with too little carbonation. OK barleywine. jeffc666 (1895), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Alcohol very well-masked, very malty, subtle sweetness, caramel/toffee notes, a bit smoky. Full, good palate, but could use a bit more carbonation. turtlehead (111), Nottingham, New Hampshire, USA

Just a little too fruity this year. Very complex & tasty flavor though; full bodied on the palate. As far as I know, only available in the downstairs bar.
