| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 12, 2006 No head left; hazy dark-red/brown beer. American hops, chocolate cake, and a bit of piney resins. Hoppy, chocolate, vinous but nowhere distinctive. A stereotypic American Barley Wine tastewise. Alcoholburn, malt overload, fusels, dry finish. If you’re looking for anything BUT discreet, there’s a starter. Then go to 3 Floyds Dreadnaught. jbrus (4916), Delft, Netherlands
