Bottle courtesy of Mike Miller, thanks Mike. Smooth going down with a choclate, cofee taste, then the hops kick in. Decent beer. If it was a little fuller it would get my attention more.

Bottle, #388 Dark red pour, one of the lighter porters around, with a small head. Somewhat light aroma of chocolate and roasted malt. Same with flavor. Pretty enjoyable overall.

Brown pour with small brown head from brewpub. Nutty, malty, with some caramel notes. Medium thin body, malty cloying finish. I do love the label though.

On tap at the brewpub. Color reminded me of cranberry juice. Aroma of vanilla, caramel and hops. Taste of strong caramel, toffee and chocolate. Medium bodied, slightly bitter. Very nice. 7/4/7/3/15/3.6

Bottle from the brewpub opened 4/30/08. Ruby color with a small head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and dirt. Taste is a bit metallic, with chocolate and mocha. 6/4/7/3/14 /3.4

22oz bottle shared courtesy of weeare138. Poured a medium to deeper brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of roast and chocolate. Tastes of, well big nasty. Sour and tart. I see other people mention sour...the sourness drowned out anything else and made me dump my glass.
