Nov 20, 2008 Bottle courtesy of dkachur/ Pours brown with a thin white head. Smells earthy with some mellow chocolatey hints. Tastes tarte with some malty hints. Not very good.

Jul 21, 2008 <i>Bottle, #388</i> Dark red pour, one of the lighter porters around, with a small head. Somewhat light aroma of chocolate and roasted malt. Same with flavor. Pretty enjoyable overall.

Jun 18, 2008 Brown pour with small brown head from brewpub. Nutty, malty, with some caramel notes. Medium thin body, malty cloying finish. I do love the label though.

Apr 20, 2008 Updated: Apr 30, 2008On tap at the brewpub. Color reminded me of cranberry juice. Aroma of vanilla, caramel and hops. Taste of strong caramel, toffee and chocolate. Medium bodied, slightly bitter. Very nice. 7/4/7/3/15/3.6<br /><br />
Bottle from the brewpub opened 4/30/08. Ruby color with a small head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and dirt. Taste is a bit metallic, with chocolate and mocha. 6/4/7/3/14 /3.4
