Sep 20, 2007 Sweet dark wheat aroma. Foggy medium brown. Sour, a little astringent and generally homebrewy, some floral fruitiness. Good CO2. Enough wheat mustiness to keep things interesting.

Aug 29, 2007 Slightly cloudy amber apperance, OK head. Aroma was stock banana and clove. Flavor matched with medium bodied wheat notes. Struck me much more as a hefe than a dunkel, other than the appearance. But nice overall with good phenols. Perhaps because I’m more of a wheat fan than most.

Aug 26, 2007 Shockoe festival Richmond VA-Draft: Dirty banana aroma. Light brown, cloudy, thin head. Clove and ginger taste. Quite bland.

Aug 23, 2007 Cloudy brown body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet banana and light caramel aroma. Sweet banana flavor - almost a bit too much - with caramel and light spice. This would be great with a bit more dark malt to back it up, a bit too close to a straight hefeweizen as it is.
