Very murky, yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma and flavor are filled with banana and clove. Well-balanced and extra light-bodied. Watery mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Not very good, even for a hefeweizen. jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 14, 2008 on tap-pours a white head and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is clove, banana, lemon, wheat. Taste is clove, banana, lemon, wheat, nicely balanced. OK effervescence. Easy drinking. Braudog (3464), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Aug 8, 2003 Lightly aroma'd with little activity but a good hazy feel. It's light and lemony, and I couldn't discern any yeastiness. This was more like a fruit beer to me, with a big sour finish. Skyview (3144), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 10, 2007 Sampled at the RBSG ’07 Grand Tasting. Pours a cloudy golden yellow brew with an average white head. Aroma of light wheat, yeast, strong banana esters, and a touch of citrus zest. Taste is medium bodied, dry with some clove and banana in the background. Finish is slightly dry and good balance of yeast and malt. Nice to see the historical Richbrau brand has returned after being lost for over 30 years.
