Apr 23, 2008 Bottle from the brewery. Pours bronze colored with a small head and good lacing and retemtion. Bitter and floral hop aroma. Taste is hops (woody) with a hint of honey sweetness. Somewhat vegetal.

Nov 18, 2007 Growler at the RBSG grand tasting on 6/23/07: Pours a transparent copper amber with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh, earthy piny hops and sweet lightly toasted caramel malt. Body starts with some mild sweetness drying out more toward an earthier toasty caramel maltiness and thinner bittersweet finish. Needs some more sweet malty balance.

Oct 5, 2007 RBSG 07 Minneapolis Grand Tasting: Caramel color, light head and lacing. Nose of fresh cascade and cenntenial, a nice sweet sweet caramelly malt balance, and a pleasant nutty flavor to go with. Nice IPA with a buttery finish.

Aug 13, 2007 Bomber...really a double IPA, this is very similar to Bell’s Two-Hearted Ale in flavor, moderate hops with an herbal character, very rich and silky overall. Red and cloudy in appearance. I give this a very high rating.
