Sep 4, 2006 (Amarillo hops) Clear amber body with creamy off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, mild, grapefruit/herbal. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/herbal. Watery light-medium body.

Nov 18, 2007 Growler at the RBSG grand tasting on 6/23/07: Pours a transparent copper amber with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh, earthy piny hops and sweet lightly toasted caramel malt. Body starts with some mild sweetness drying out more toward an earthier toasty caramel maltiness and thinner bittersweet finish. Needs some more sweet malty balance.

Jun 12, 2007 070218-on tap-pours a thin creamy off white head and amber color. Aroma is citrus hops. Taste is smooth citrus hops-some bitterness balanced with medium malt. OK carbonation.

Nov 16, 2008 Bomber courtesy of dkachur. Pours copper with a nice white head. Smells of sage, oranges, dry malt, ginger. Tastes of pepper, spice, sweet pepper, resin, light bitterness. Excellent!

Oct 5, 2007 RBSG 07 Minneapolis Grand Tasting: Caramel color, light head and lacing. Nose of fresh cascade and cenntenial, a nice sweet sweet caramelly malt balance, and a pleasant nutty flavor to go with. Nice IPA with a buttery finish.

Jul 10, 2007 Sampled from growler at the RBSG ’07 Grand Tasting. Pours a clear coppery amber brew with a thick fizzy white head that dissolves with good lacing. Aroma of sour dough bread-like malt, citrus peel with pine, and a touch of herbal spice. Taste is more citrus and pine hops with some apricots in the background. Palate is medium bodied, carbonated and rough in the back of the tongue. Finish is bitter during and even long afterwards.

Appearance: good amber , clear look , mid off tanned top. Some lace on sides.3+
Nose: clean , true fresh IPA in west coast style/ Citric – grapefruit with sweet malts.8-
Flavor/Palate : Mid full bodied. Full out on high alpha hop , bitter leafy mid with slight metallic feel. Bold , bit one sided with more pronounced with time.
