Draft at Old Dominion Beer Festival 2005... Sparkling clear amber ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma and flavor are well-balanced and unoffensive, but there’s not much going on. Light to medium-bodied and watery with lively carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish.

Bottle courtesy of dkachur. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of caramel, citrus, earthy, roses, light spice. Tastes earthy and lightly bitter with some sage and citrus. Great al around beer.

This beer looks like I want my beer to look ... bubbly copper goodness with a firm foam head. The beer is smooth with a hint of dark chocolate smoke and maybe nut? Bitter, biting ending. OK.

Pours a bronze body with a small white head. Aroma is sweetned malts blended with toffee and hops. The taste is nicely hopped with some pleasant malt sweetness to balance it out. Pretty much a standard English Pale Ale but is nicely done. Mouthfeel is relatively smooth. The finish is slightly bitter due to the hop character. Pretty decent beer.
