Commercial Description: As the summer heats up Richbrau has released its single hopped rye ale. This beer is orange in color has a solid malt base, with over 30 % of rye malt in the grist. The spicy character of the rye blends well with the pacific northwest grown Horizon hops. With 11% alpha acid Horizon packs quite a punch in flavor and aroma but it is not overly bitter. The IBU's come in at about 48. It is dry hopped with whole leaf Horizon and served unfiltered as it continues to condition through July in the serving tanks.
