| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 22, 2003 Bottle, from Only Fine Beer. Salty aroma, and pale appearance, even for a Kolsch beer. Thin head, but good lacing. Dry on the front of the tongue with cheeky bubbles popping in your mouth. Dryness fades towards the back of your tongue, but the pleasant taste lingers, with a tiny bit of sweetness. This is not a complex beer, but very pleasant: it's close to the superior Reissdorf, but better than Garde and Sunner. shrubber85 (2966), Wallhalben, Germany

1 Monat vor Ablaufdatum wird es Zeit. Kaum Schaum, aber schön goldgelb. Insgesamt recht herb, nicht besonders vollmundig, eher schwach im Aroma, dürfte viel kräftiger sein.

Average fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Clear flat body with particles in flow and pale yellow color. Aroma of grass, grain, straw and caramel. Over the palate came grassy notes with good caramel sweetness. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light sweet and bitter flavor in good balance. Light dry and grassy bitter finish.
