"Winter Ale". Ridgeway produce two versions of Bad Elf "Winter Ale" - one at 4.5%, and the other at 6%. There is a separate listing for the 4.5%.
Olde England meets the New World in this strong, warming golden ale, brewed by Peter Scholey. Master brewer for the late and much-lamented Brakspear Brewery of Henley-on-Thames, England, Peter started his own brewing operations in 2003. Bad Elf is a hop-lover’s dream, balancing a generous amount of famous English malt with an astounding 45 ounces of fresh hops – including American Cascade – per barrel.

50 cL in a unique bottle labeled with good advertising appeal. Decently fresh aroma of good yeasty beer. Dull green citrusy grapefruit bite. Taste is somewhat like the elf looks. Rude and obnoxious at times. Quite bitter alky attack on the finish. I found this very hoppy for an ESA.

Pours a caramel orange color, with a foamy white head. Sweet floral aroma. Malt and hop flavors. Not real impressive, average.

Pours golden with little non-lasting head. Fresh taste, some acidity and sweetness. Hoppy feel to it.

Bottle. Pours a crystal clear orange gold with a thin soapy white head that faded to a film after the first sip and was gone before mid-glass. Very light floral aroma with some notes of sweet malt as well. The flavor is sweet malt with some hops at the finish. Ok, but nothing special.

This brew pours a nice orangy amber with a thick white head. Although it is an IPA, the aroma is surprisingly malty, with just a touch of sweetness. Flavor is richly hoppy, with a strong malt component, a hint of fruity sweetness, and only a whisper of hop bitterness. It goes down smoothly but with a good alcohol edge and a hoppy, mildly bitter aftertaste.

Clear amber golden color with a small head. Smells a bit malty and spicy, sort of bready as well. Very smooth taste of malt and some spiciness. Nothing spectacular but glad I found a bottle to try.

Draught @ Biahops Arms, Malmö. Pours a clear copper color with a longlasting creamy off-white head. Sweet malty caramel aroma with some spicy hints. Sweet malty and slightly fruity caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Swet malty finish with some hints of caramel and hops in the aftertaste.

Bottle from Tbone_, thanks! Orange blonde color. Flowery and peppery hops in the aroma. Hopbitter flavor with a hint of grapefruit. Thin, just a bit alcoholic. Hint of butterscotch. Not bad.
