Pour is orange - amber clear with an off-white head. Aroma is baking cookies, some hay and an almost chemical sweetness. Taste is the malt sweet malt backbone with a nice clean, crisp hop finish. Bottle. [Great two day tasting session @ Papsoe] Average fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat looking body with a golden color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of light grassy, caramel, grain and light floral. Over the palate notes of grass and toasted malt. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. It has a lightly floral nose with a tiny zing. The flavor is very malty with a good bit of hops. There is also a spicy bit to add interest. Not too shabby.
