Dec 22, 2007 This beer reminded me a lot of a mellower version of SNPA. Light gold color with some fizzy white head. Aroma is earthy and piney hops. Flavor is of caramel malts with slight fruit undertone and cascade hop finish. Overall, decent.

Dec 20, 2007 Very light golden color with a white head that fades quickly. Bitter sweet hoppy aroma that doesn’t lead to the appropriate taste. Reminds me of drinking Old Style...with a hint of hops!

Dec 19, 2007 1 pt. 9 oz (I refuse to do the conversion) pours with fluffy head that flattens quickly. Citrus aroma with some sweet hoppy overtones. Goldenrod, slightly cloudy appearance. No lacing. Initial flavor of sweet malt with caramel, middle palate of citrus and spice and a finish of hops. Good beer but not as hearty as I had hoped for a strong ale and with a much weaker flavor.

Dec 17, 2007 Updated: Oct 27, 2009500 ml. Burnt orange and clear, with a small but lasting foam. Spicy-sweet caramel aroma. Earth-spiced apple flavor front turns to spicy herb, dry wood, evergreeen resin, and tart apple on the ending. Smooth and light-medium bodied with a dry, tingly finish. Looks and tastes like a nice ESB.
