Arouma is not very striking - citrus and fruits. Some sweet malts but very dry. Hops dominate the flavor. Smooth but not altogether memorable. harrisoni (6945), Ashford, Kent, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 28, 2009 Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear BF 09. Haze amber. Definite Belgian yeast on the aroma, esters, fruity. Not sure the yeast goes with the English malts. It’s got a lot of yeast fruit. The yeast character completely dominates it. Drinkable though. fata2683 (930), Panama City, Florida, USA

Hazy, dark yellow pour with a thick, foamy eggshell white head, faint cereal and citrusy nose, light, with strawberry, nutmeg, and a bit of citrus hoppiness. Soft finish. Not bad, highly quaffable, and an interesting sample of the style. 41cubs (149), , New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 26, 2009 Love it. Every nuance is understated to a point of being graceful. Smells of floral honey, lightly buttered toast and a little pepper. Flavor is very well balanced with a doughy malt in the front and a peppery hop finish. Beautiful light amber golden. Really nice suprise. Thank You Ridgeway. 2009 550 ml. ratman197 (3256), Arvada, Colorado, USA
