Very dominating hops until last drop. Easily drinkable omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 2, 2009 Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Cloudy a,ber, rich airy head. Floral estery nose. Sweetish and fairly light. Dusty fruity hops with resiny, sweaty undertones. ALingering floral bitterness of mid intensity. One of the better Ridgeway’s. sayravai (3720), Helsinki, Finland Apr 16, 2009 (Bottled, sampled earlier when RB was broken) Clear, deep golden with a quite large, frothy head. Fresh, flowery-aromatic British-style hops emerge when pouring, along with a hint of buttery-toffeeish malt. Malt is also present in the flavor, but the citric, aromatic, bitter, and even slightly harsh hops take over pretty quickly. Aftertaste fades quickly with dry, bitter-nutty notes. Almost medium body with a high, soft and foamy carbonation. A positive surprise, and not much different from the 6% version. Bov (5403), Bienne, Switzerland Feb 23, 2009 courtesy of oh6gdx - hazy orange colour under a foamy white head; fair presence of hops with notes of orange peels and cream; solid carbonation, fizzy palate, quite thin-bodied and with a solid bitterness; aftertaste of bitter oranges - straightforward Archibaldo de la Cruz (394), Finland Jan 9, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden colour with a creamy white head. Aroma is fruity hops and malt. Hoppy flavour with some fruits, sweetness, malts and citrus. Medium-bodied and bitter aftertaste. Very drinkable brew. Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Jan 3, 2009 The full name is Bad Elf Winters Ale – and the ABV is 4,5%. It is a warm golden beer with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of fruity hops, malt, caramel and citrus. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of citrus, malt, caramel, fruit and the finish is dry with a light bitterness. It is refreshing, harmonic and delicious.
