Bottle picked up from Westholme, Londis, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, had this 15-05-08 Pours dark brown, slight sourness on the nose along with a hint of liquorice. Some sweet malt in mouth, liquorice again, woody bitterness, slight burnt flavours, dryish finish. Its ok.

Clear medium brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (130508)
