Hazy copper with nice white suds that last and form nice lacing. Aroma: a fresh blend of hops--perhaps british and US--but still kind of weak with no malt character. Biscuity malt with gentle hops up front (bitterness and flavour) with subtle malt in good balance with the hops characteristics. Very fresh tasting. The thing about this beer I didn’t like was how mild it was. Light to medium body with very low carbonation and a clean finish. PorterPounder (3147), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Bright, medium orange pour with a sticky white head, good thick lacing. Tangy aroma, a bit of sweet cake mix, some yeastiness in there as well. Flavor has some malty biscuity sweetness. Subtle, sweet and sour bitterness. Finishes strong with some maple syrup notes. Decently thick mouhtfeel. An above average bitter. JensenTaster (1588), Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2005 Large tight beaded white head, good retention with abundent sticky lace, lasting. Nose is hop spicey with citrus whiffs. Body is light/medium, spry, good mouthfeel. Dry malts are lightly blanketed by the spicey hop flavors but still manage to shine through with a nice breadyness and toast. Flavors are fairly well balanced. Finish is dry, a bit earthy and a pleasent hop bite. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 29, 2005 Hoppy, malty aroma, copper, pours a large billowy, off-white head, lot’s of carbonation, some fine malts. Beautiful malt start, boisterous hops accent. Really well balanced, woody, leafy and bitter! Terrific! A marvelous Session Ale!
