The head lasts and stays thick to the end, leaving thick, nice lacing that covers the glass to the very end. The aroma is mild, faint yeasty bread and definite lemon peel citrus. The taste is bready malt up front with mild sweetness, rapidly giving way to mildly bitter hoppiness, and a hoppy, floral finish leaving a pleasant floral aftrertaste. It is crisp, with a fairly full yet lively feel. It is very refreshing, smooth, balanced, exceedingly drinkable and tasty. The first sip seems kind of disappointing, but its true full character takes over after that, making it very satisfying. GoBlue (102), Falls Church, Virginia, USA

A nice ale, really reminds me of like an American Pale Ale than a bitter. Good. GreatLibations (1444), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Pours a beautiful golden color with a tall lasting froth. good residual lacing. Aromas of malted biscuits and citrus peel. Medium full nectar with ample residual effers. A solid malt backbone supports a defined bitterness with flavors of said citrus peel, caramel, and biscuits. The finish is bittered nicely leaving a lingering biscuit essence. This is a nice specimen living up to it’s style with a very focused bittering component and a fresh hop profile. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2005 Large tight beaded white head, good retention with abundent sticky lace, lasting. Nose is hop spicey with citrus whiffs. Body is light/medium, spry, good mouthfeel. Dry malts are lightly blanketed by the spicey hop flavors but still manage to shine through with a nice breadyness and toast. Flavors are fairly well balanced. Finish is dry, a bit earthy and a pleasent hop bite. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

Beautiful malt start, boisterous hops accent. Really well balanced, woody, leafy and bitter! Terrific! A marvelous Session Ale!
