Gusler (2656), Tucson, Arizona, USA Dec 13, 2007 The beer departs the 330ml bottle a crystalline golden amber with a smallish creamy white head that erodes quickly leaving a thin coating of lace upon the glass. Nose has a malt sweet aroma, a bit of alcohol also present, a tad bit of hops, spicy and earthy, crisp and pleasant. Start is sweet with a nice malt profile, alcohol bitter at the back with a medium feel. Finish has a stern acidity, the hops present, but overpowered by the 11.20 ABV, dry sweet aftertaste, and a definite tummy warmer this one, and a real “Hoot”!
nearbeer (1046), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jun 16, 2008 33 cl, 2007 vintage. Clear and reddish-copper with a small, fleeting head. Raisins, brown sugar, and rum on the nose. Flavor is spiced dark fruit, alcohol, oak, vanilla, and brown sugar. Big warming alcohol finish. Medium body is tingly and dry with alcohol and spiciness. Nice flavors, but they are dominated a bit much by the alcohol for my tastes. BrewDad (1528), Olympia, Washington, USA May 25, 2008 330ml Bottle - Gravity Beer Market - Olympia, WA

BlackDonald (610), On a beer trip all over the USA, California, USA May 19, 2008 Well said, this is insanely bad, well maybe not insanely, but this is not the greatest beer I have ever put in my mouth. Has a slightly coppery metallic spice flavor but very sweet and malty, almost to the point of being cloying with very present alcohol all the way through. Vac (2169), San Diego, California, USA May 19, 2008 they did a good job on naming the beer...it is insanely bad. Ok, maybe not that bad but it certainly wasn’t good. It pours with a deep red-amber body topped by a thin to medium thick, off-white head with some lacing left behind. It’s cloyingly sweet and malty with anote of slightly rotten fruit, some alcohol esters as well as a very slight not of christmas spices. Full bodied and warming.
