Small offwhite head that settles out quickly and ends up thin and wispy, lacing is spotty. Clear amber, copper hued brew. Light nose of fruit, peach and a bit of grainy malts. Body is med/light with a pleasent carbonation, a touch oily. Dry malt flavors, light woodiness, caramel, citrus notes and a gentle breadiness. Dry, lightly fruity finish. A neat little quaffer.

This English Strong Ale pours a medium orange gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, some sweetness with a touch of hops. Medium bodied English Strong Ale. The malts are caramel and semi-sweet. The hops are earthy and floral. Nice balance. Lots of caramel and sweet malt flavors. The citrusy aspect comes out after it warms a bit. Decent beer, a nice session ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Coppery orange, with a white head. Spicy, slightly fruity aroma. Flavor is surprisingly fruity and citrusy, with a noticable hop presence. Tasty and quaffable.

Bottle Amber body with a thick foamy head. Nose-bready, light cherry cough syrup, light raw dough. Taste-toffee, light chocolate powder, light strawberry, raw on the back end, unrefined, dry mouthfeel, sawdust, unpleasant rough raw mouthfeel. Not pleasant flavor. Yuck. Smoke, wood, mild char. Could not finish the whole bottle.

In the bottle at the 2007 Crescent Moon Holiday Beer Tasting. Pours a perfect amber color with a nice off white and yellow-tinged head. Has a medium palate with a nice medium bodied roasted-ness. The hop bitterness is simple, but adequate. Has a bit of a chocolate finish.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry and Blankboy, courtesy of Harry. Slight hops, mild grassy notes, some light malt and very slight skunk in aroma. Glowing orange, medium white head. Decent taste - sweet, fruit. Sub standard English Strong Ale.
