Pours golden orange with rocky mountain(esk) head. Hmm this is 6%abv? A little meek I think. Aroma is kind of weak. Flavor is a little disappointing although not unpleasant. Im getting mild cinnamon with bitter dark chocolate. The attack is crisp then transitions quickly into a creamy mouth feel. Not bad but definitely not worth the $7 I paid for a single.

Nice head. Clear amber color. Head is off white and foamy. Some hops in the taste along with malts, caramel, and spices. Smell of malts, spices, and hops. Sort of plain with malts.

Bottle. Pours clear orange with an average, rocky, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, toasted grain, straw), average hops (grass, herbs), heavy yeast (barnyard, sweat) with notes of pear and apricot. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (apricot), with a note of diacetyl, hint of paper. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety/creamy texture, lively carbonation. Good head retention, nice creamy mouthfeel, good balance. Nose isn’t very interesting or attractive, but overall a decent enough quaffer.

picked this up at bevmo for $3.

pours clear an orange amber coppery color with a sandy white head and lots of spots and trails of lace. smells like... pasteurized apple juice with some faint dry earthy spices, toasted nuts, caramel and flowers. the flavor is a bland version of the aroma... apple juice, spice, skinless red table grapes and some floral notes (hops or abv%, idk) with a mildly bitter finish. nuttiness is present in the aftertaste. the medium body is a bit on the sticky side. 6/3/6/3/11/2.9

This orange/amber ale poured with a rapidly disappearing off-white head and a light bread aroma. There is a decent caramel malt base and with some sort of astringent spice and a long slightly bitter finish.

500 ml bottle given to me by my wife for Christmas. Pour is hazed golden amber with decent settling that builds a one inch egg white head. Aroma of cardboard malt and some sweet spiciness. Taste is the dusty biscuit malt, followed by muted caramel sweetness. The finish lingers a bit, and is not particularly clean tasting. Despite that very clean taste of this, it is actually pretty easy to drink, which is odd.
