Dec 14, 2008 50cl bottle from Racetrack Liquors (Tamap, FL). Pours a dark golden color with thin white head. Minimal retention and lacing. Aroma is slightly malty with notes of sweet caramel, subdued hops, honey and spice. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of candy sugar, honey, light roasted notes and nuts. Generally medium body with a slightly roasted finish.

Dec 6, 2008 Thanks kiefdog. Pours a copper gold with a nose of barley-wine flavors along with toffee and brown sugar. Flavor is same with cotton candy, malt, and some hops. Malt lingers with some fruitiness.

Dec 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of kiefdog. Pours deep clear gold with white head. The aroma is mildly malty with light roast and fruity esters that move into winter spice. Smooth taste with roasted to nutty malts. The fruity esters and winter spices are noticed in several layers here and there. Very tasty.

Nov 30, 2008 Pours a clear copper color with a foamy off white head. Aroma and flavor of caramel malt, ripe fruit, seasonal spices and a touch of alcohol. Pretty average on the palate. No big deal.
