Bottle courtesy of kiefdog. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a one finger off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, light fruit, and a touch of caramel. Taste is the same as aroma with aome earthy hops. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Good.

Light orange with beige foaming head, significant lace. Malty aroma with understated spices. Medium mouthfeel, the caramel malting provides some substance. Easy drinking,it’s quite drinkable, with corriander, nutmeg, cinammon. Leaning on the sweet side. Understated carbonation. Worth having the one one time.

Clear light brown with a nice light orange head that hangs around well. Sticky lacing on the glass. Sweet malty aroma with some fruit. Only mildly bitter. Flavor is sugary with some caramel malt, alcohol, fruit, and faint spice. This is a very sweet version of the style but is an enjoyable brew. The name rates an A+ but the beer is about a B.

(Bottled). Clear copper brown color, small white head. Crisp, citrusy and methol nose. Fruity hoppy, pineapple flavors, English hops and crystal malts. Sweetish aftertaste. Nothing Christmasy here.

(Bottled) Clear amber with a medium, bubbly-lemonadey, mostly fading head. Aroma of caramely malt and some berries, plus hints of metal when cold. Caramely malt also in the flavor, with nutty-citrusy, aromatic hops, and toffee sweetness. Sweetish, toffee-berryish aftertaste. Medium body with a bit high and fizzy carbonation. A very average beer in every sense, and nothing christmasy in it, either.

The aroma is malty and yeasty and smells a lot like an ESB. The appearance is amber gold with a small head. The flavor is somewhat sweet and malty with some bitterness and yeast. The palate is thin but OK for the style. Overall it’s decent.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head leaving some lacework. Lightly sweet aroma of caramel and nuts. Full-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel and plenty of fruit and caramel. No real bitterness but quite some alcohol showing. 210908
