Last year’s bottle from Woodstock Wine and Deli in Portland, OR--Rich copper-amber body with a big two-finger thick pillowy cloud head. Malty grapefruit and orange flavors. Creamy, crisp and mildly cardboardy/metallic, but overall has a mild spice character. Very quaffable. Held up well considering age and the fact it is 6% ABV.

Bottled@SBWF2008. Amber colour, rich off-white head. Aroma is lots of caramel malts, some mild hops as well as dry dark fruits. Flavour is quite much the same. A very sweet malty brew for being a Ridgeway product. Suits the Christmas season well!

Clear amber with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with tosted malt, caramel and ripe fruits. Sweet flavour with same notes. Ends sweet.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel - the aroma is too light for my liking. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Pours a copperish orange with a slightly off white head. Head size was decent and of decent duration. Aroma was very mild with a slight hint of spice. Flavor was with some malt and low spice notes. Finish on the palate is mild.

Poured orange/amber. Slight floral boquet. Quite malty with some christmas cookie and mild citrus. Had better christmas/winter selections, but for some reason I like it. Seemed very drinkable.

Clear amber of color with a off white cloudy head. An aroma of malt, nutty and orange hints. A flavor of malt, caramel and bisquit. Pretty harmless.

Amber color; clear; long-lasting, frothy, eggshell colored head; tons of lacing. Aroma is fairly lame: nutty with some orange and light, floral hops. Flavor similarly lame: orange, nutty malt, light caramel, and bitter, grassy, hops. Medium to medium-light body; medium stickyness; very tiny bubbles make this almost silky. Average at best.
