Light amber color; generous head. Strange aroma, mild, creamy but also meaty; earthy. Caramel and toffee flavor, with a reasonable body; there is a light but pleasant earthy, manure touch. Strong bitterness. Indeed interesting, as bottled English ale.

Dec 11, 2009 Thin head of varying sized bubbles. Light carbonation that slowly floats up through a crystal clear dark orange liquid that looks enticing. Buttery malts domintae the aroma with some butter scotch, cinnamon, caramel and a bit of dough. Sharp biting flavor. A good deal of hops up front which was totally unexpected. Somewhat thin body of which I expected it to be much fuller. A bit of grainyness and sweetness. Finishes dry with a lingering bitterness. After having all of the other Santa products in this line I was expecting something much fuller and chewyer. Oh well, not a bad drink.

Fruity flavour of berries, caramel, liquorice, cookies and hops.

Nov 28, 2009 500 ml bottle at the Bayou. Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. The aroma is sweet hops and loads of earthy malts. The flavor is nice; sweet hops, spices and a earthiness. Like a spiced pale ale. Loads of earthy and spicy English hops. Enjoyable.

Nov 10, 2009 Poured from a 500 ml bottle in to an English Pint at 43°. Color is a deep golden brown with good carbonation that creates a big rocky head that slowly falls to a thick off white. Aroma is a good malty bread scent with light hops, a bit of yeast and a metallic thing in the back. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a light crisp feel. Finish comes in with light toffee, citrus and pepper then a big bitter bite. After taste is clean as the bitterness hangs on. Overall this is a good brew with a class English feel.

Oct 22, 2009 500 ml EXP ?? 2 7 10 Golden orange lacing orange peel spices tickling moutheel some hops too. Dryish aftertaste. Not bad at all
