Aroma of caramely malt and some berries, plus hints of metal when cold. Caramely malt also in the flavor, with nutty-citrusy, aromatic hops, and toffee sweetness. Sweetish, toffee-berryish aftertaste. Medium body with a bit high and fizzy carbonation. A very average beer in every sense, and nothing christmasy in it, either.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 10, 2009 Poured from a 500 ml bottle in to an English Pint at 43°. Color is a deep golden brown with good carbonation that creates a big rocky head that slowly falls to a thick off white. Aroma is a good malty bread scent with light hops, a bit of yeast and a metallic thing in the back. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a light crisp feel. Finish comes in with light toffee, citrus and pepper then a big bitter bite. After taste is clean as the bitterness hangs on. Overall this is a good brew with a class English feel. mirjukka (703), LOHJA, Finland

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 9, 2009 Clear amber with a medium-sized and lasting head. Faint biscuit and spicy fruit aroma is clean and inoffensive, if not particularly noteworthy. Well-balanced flavor is delicate mix of toasted nut, earthy-spiced apple, bitter green herbs, and dry wood. Palate is light medium and smooth, with nice dryness and tingle on the end.
