sayravai (3720), Helsinki, Finland Nov 18, 2008 (Bottled) Clear amber with a medium, bubbly-lemonadey, mostly fading head. Aroma of caramely malt and some berries, plus hints of metal when cold. Caramely malt also in the flavor, with nutty-citrusy, aromatic hops, and toffee sweetness. Sweetish, toffee-berryish aftertaste. Medium body with a bit high and fizzy carbonation. A very average beer in every sense, and nothing christmasy in it, either.
mirjukka (695), LOHJA, Finland Oct 22, 2009 500 ml EXP ?? 2 7 10 Golden orange lacing orange peel spices tickling moutheel some hops too. Dryish aftertaste. No real concrete things to hold on to. Boring really. Just a little malt backed up by nothing. SSSteve (2040), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 5, 2009 bottle. found at trout’s in jasper, ga on a work excursion. lucky me. dark gold under a medium sized cream colored head. malty and mildly sweet. a bit of butter, butterscotch and some biscuity flavors. aroma is the same. a nice creamy palate. enough citrus hop in the finish to keep it interesting. Snojerk321 (1910), San Diego, California, USA Jul 9, 2009 Clear amber with a medium-sized and lasting head. Faint biscuit and spicy fruit aroma is clean and inoffensive, if not particularly noteworthy. Well-balanced flavor is delicate mix of toasted nut, earthy-spiced apple, bitter green herbs, and dry wood. Palate is light medium and smooth, with nice dryness and tingle on the end. MitchWayne (264), Kokkola, Finland Apr 17, 2009 Nothing revolting about this reindeer, just a caramelly bitter with nothing much to say. SaulusHumulus (47), Helsinki, Finland Apr 5, 2009 Bottled. This really wasn’t that good. Aroma is vapidly musty, though turning a little bit more pleasant as it warms up. There was something gross in the malty flavor, not good. At least quite nice palate makes this quite easy drinkable. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA Mar 5, 2009 Bottle. Amber beer with a dark cream colored head. Malt aroma with light hay. Malt and caramel flavor with some woodsiness and light fruit. Medium bodied. Caramel lingers with light fruit and light woodsiness.
