Clear amber appearance with a good size beige head and fair lacing. Aroma is spicy, herbal, fruity, with a hint of leather at the end. Taste has an earthy, vinous like quality up front, followed by an acidic, mildly sweet flavor that conceals the alcohol pretty well. Almost seems like an out of balance Flemish sour. Medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with a funky finish.

Not a real good beer. Has some serious off tastes. It came in a larger bottle, but luckily it was split three ways for a tasting. I probably could not have finished the whole bottle myself - it just wasn’t enjoyable.

Quite frankly, a misguided engllish attempt to emulate west coast hop laden beers....way too unbalanced........

From bottle. Mild toffee fruity aroma with light hoppy quality. A bit of alcohol vapor. Very pleasant. Light golden amber clear with mild haze, topped with light off-white head. Medium heavy body with medium carbonation. Starts fairly sweet, with honey and light malt, neutral fruitiness and some alcoholic warming. Mild acidity with sugary syrup finish and light bitter drying. Tasty, but nothing hugely special.
