goldtwins (3740), Nesconset, New York, USA Jul 2, 2008 Sipped chilled. Poured crystal clear like water with a slight yellow tint to it. The aroma was clean with no alcohol. Some rice and fruit. Notes of pear and honeydew. The flavor had a semi-sweet start and was very smooth and clean. The alcohol was well hidden and there was a good dryness. Tasty stuff and went very well with my sushi dinner. kkearn (689), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA May 1, 2008 300mL bottle from State Line Liquors, Elkton, MD. Poured absolutely clear with no head; about as exciting as a sake can look. Nice lacing. Aroma of rice, nuts, melon, plum and some alcohol. Sweet flavor at first; with some tropical fruit and nuts complimenting the rice. Initial sweetness gives way to rubbing alcohol flavor and a long, alcohol burn. tytoanderso (1201), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA Apr 11, 2008 300ml bottle. Nearly water like pour with just the faintest touch of gold. I mean really faint. Faint fruity aroma. Perhaps some kiwi and melon. Koji and rice. Simple but inoffensive. Bright fruit on the tongue initially. Followed by a pleasant woody dryness. The 15% is barely detectable. Medium bodied and quite firm on the palate for a sake. Finishes quite dry. Tmoney99 (3636), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Feb 10, 2008 Bottle chilled from Sam’s Chicago. Poured clear pale color with legs. Moderate to heavy green apple, melon and alcohol aroma. Medium body with a medium smooth texture. Moderate to heavy green apple flavor with a medium to heavy sweet alcohol burn finish of long duration. I would recommend this to a freind. Palidor19 (1319), Brandon, Florida, USA Feb 4, 2008 Hmm, this is good, its full of sake flavors, with dry fruits, wood and it packs a punch. Totally refined.
