Tastes immediately of sweet caramel and vanilla. Soap comes through, then there’s a crackle of autumn leaves and just a hint of bitterness in the finish. Buttery, greasy mouthfeel. The pasteurisation is very evident. But my overall impression was dominated by sweetness, and not in a pleasant way. Disappointing from this brewery, as my other experiences of their beers have generally been favourable. c7 madquacker (721), Canberra ACT, Australia
