12 oz bottle-pours a light amber color w/a moderate white foams head. It went down hill from here. Faint malt aroma. Sour taste of corn & yeast. Musty, earthy Flavor. Wasn’t plesent at all. Glad it had a short, forgettable finish. I wouldn’t drink this again

bottle from total wine & more tampa: light amber, small head that stays, fruit hop smell, taste of sweet caramel and roasted malt, british style pale -- good enough, but not my favorite style

A lite amber beer with a hint of yeast and a musty bitter taste. The head was moderate and lasted a while. Decent lacing on the glass.

I got this beer down in Florida at Case & Keg because of its Maine ties. I am not a big fan of this style, but I thought that I would give it a shot based on my brother’s advice. Pours with a nice amber color and a 2 finger head that settles down pretty quick. There is a bit of a yeasty smell initially along with some gentle spices. The taste is a bit dry for me with some sweetness and some tannon hints-earthy maybe? I didnt detect too much hops, but there was some light maple taste. The mouthfeel is nice, not too full, but plenty of taste-it just happens not to be my favorite. I think that this could be a nice example of an ESB, but I dont know really too much since it isnt my style.

12oz. bottle from Woodmans in Madison. Medium slightly hazy copper and has a small head. Aroma and flavor is candied malts, ripened fruits and a touch of hops. Pretty good.

POurs light amber with nice notes of malt and the bitterness gives you a big up front hit with some length on the bitterness. Nice beer

On tap at Stone. Brown with no head. Floral hoppy aroma. Candy sweetness, hoppy flower taste with a mild bitterness and a smooth finish.
