Clear, orange-amber with a small, but lasting head that leaves a little lace. Aroma is caramel and sour apple, with some dry yeast. Flavor is the same, plus some butter. Pours a amber/orange color w/ white head that stays till the end. Starts out bitter(gee, it"s an esb, what a surprise) than begins to mellow out. Palate is clean,dry & refreshing. Taste is sweet & tart at the same time. Finish is dry with the bitterness returning for an encore. An ok brew
