Pours amber with 1 inch of white head that recedes quickly. Decent, loose lacing. Nose is wheaty roast, shoebox, mild spicy hops on the third sniff. More wood, hops, grainy, slight apple in mouth and aftertaste. Well-balanced bitterness and soft carbonation. Pronounced dryness.

Clear amber with an off-white bubbly head. Very nice aroma of bread, toffee, and pear. Sweet toffee flavour with a fruity kiss and a perfectly balanced bitter finish. Excellent!

12 oz bottle best before Oct 07. Copper in color with a small head that fades in short order. A lot of carbonation. Fruity aroma. Medium mouth fell. Dry but vibrant bitter taste.

Has to be in the running as the coolest bottle ever. Clear orange with a medium head. Aroma of bitter crushed weeds and caramel malt. Taste is moderately bitter and just short of moderately sweet. Bitter, spicy finish.

Bottle, best by 07-07. Clear, orange-amber with a small, but lasting head that leaves a little lace. Aroma is caramel and sour apple, with some dry yeast. Flavor is the same, plus some butter. Dried a bit with herby hops that show up more in the finish and aftertaste. Palate is dry and sour-tingly.

12 oz bottle consumed at fridge temp. Pours a amber/orange color w/ white head that stays till the end. Starts out bitter(gee, it"s an esb, what a surprise) than begins to mellow out. Palate is clean, dry & refreshing. Taste is sweet & tart at the same time. Finish is dry with the bitterness returning for an encore. An ok brew
