Bottle best by Nov 06. Poured an amber color with a frothy white head that produced light lacing. The aroma found very subdued malts. The flavor was of caramel and light hops. Sweet up front with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Light to medium body.

nice crisp hoppy ale, otherwise not much flavor or aroma. i usually don’t care much for the "american version of an english beer" trick but alas, one worth drinking. especially if it’s good and cold and you have thirst.

Smells very buttery and bad. The flavor is somewhat indistinct, not too malty or hoppy. A little butter in the flavor as well. Some decent hops at the end, but not a good beer.

Lightly rich malty aroma. Amber color. Vanishing white head. Starts with spiced malt, followed by hop, then a bit of floral and malt. Medium mouthfeel. Some nutty character develops. Unusual for the English or the Americans. Unique. Nicely balanced finish.

I enjoyed this beer. It poors a nice amber color with a rapidly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is malty, slightly metalic and fruity. Flavor is spicy, herbal notes, sl sweet but nicely balanced in the finish.

Bottle. Pours a copper-brown body with a small white head. The aroma has caramel notes, some lightly toast malts, and nuts. Prickly on the tongue with sweetish bread flavour and a mildly fruity cereal type of hop. Decent but pretty average overall.
