Pours red/amber with minimal head. Sweet malty aroma with lots of carmel and butterscotch. Body is medium but still very refreshing. Nice drinkable beer. Decent stuff.

[bottle and cask] Amber color, with a short head. Malty, sweet caramel flavors. slighty corny, bitter finish. Always available in my area, its drinkable, but not outstanding.

Decent bitter, was differant for suer though. Had too much caramel for an honest ESB up front. Light hop aftertaste, but caramel killed this beer, and made is almost seem like a brown.

Bought this 12oz bottle from Total Wine in Manassas, VA. Clear, copper pour with little head and lacing around the glass. Vanilla, malt, and a hint of hops. Somewhat spicy flavor. Malt, hops, and a nice bitter finish. A decent brew to say the least!

Bottle. Light mahogany with a small white head that lingered for a while and left tiny bits of lace. Nose: peat and vanilla. Flavor: scotch whisky, vanilla and spicy mince pie. Full-bodied palete. Would make a wonderful Winter beer.

Light amber color. Not much of a nose. Very sharp and not very smooth for me. Didn’t pick up on the floral notes. Kind of tasted the alcohol a bit for its low percentage. Stays crisp all the way down. Slight brown sugar taste? Carmel butterscotch appears as the beer warms. Ok

Pleasant but kind of nondescript. Light hop aroma. Medium to light amber color. Adequate head but doesn’t last long. Unimpresssive lacing. Goes down well but not too flavorful really.
