Pretty good balance in this one, not terribly bitter, quite drinkable. I enjoyed this brew, got it at a good price too.

Very good malt, hops, and spice combination, slightly sweet, and nice amber tones. Could definitely drink several, as they are smooth on the way down and just enough bitterness.

Had a pint of this, wasn’t too bad. Poured an amber color, light creamy head. Aroma was a bit floral and lightly hoppy. I didn’t mind the beer much, went down smooth.

smooth drinking session bitter. floral yeasty aroma. caramel malt and mild hop flavour. not very full bodied -- light enough to keep on drinking.

english pint / citrusy, cheesy, doughy aroma. slightly active golden straw body. thick eggshell head that diminishes swiftly, airy, rocky, and a bit loud. the palate is sleepy, and thus i wish i were in its dreams--meh. flavor: lemony, buttery, cheesy flavor; malts and hops, yeaup. egh. anyway... / i remember having this a couple years ago, quite cold, and it had a crisp apple bite to it. if my palate has been schooled, i’d rather be naive, because i remember really liking this brew.

Premium bitter? Whatever. Rich malty sdawater. Spree candy sweet aroma. Flavor of buttery LaCroix or Clearly Canadian sparkling raspberry water. Mouthfeel absconds into bubbly lightness before it can deposit any meaningful body on the palate. Finish is light, sweet, and piney.

Pours a pale amber color. Aroma is sweet and syrupy. A malty caramel scent as well. Flavor is really bitter and malty. Slight spice as well. Bitter finish with a syrupy taste that gets old as you get near the bottom of the glass.

2005 cask at Coat of Arms, Portsmouth, NH. pours clear orange with a frothy cream colored head. Sweet flowery aroma with a hint of varnish. Light varnish characteristics in the taste. Mild alcohol finish followed by bitter hops. Good.
