Bottle - Darkish amber in color with a thin whitish head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Full flavored with a malty/yeasty dominance. Mild bitterness in the finish. Good drinking beer.

Poured clear amber. Nose of bread malt and butter. Nice white head with little lacing. Tastes like a good english pale should. Has a buttery background from the yeast. Nice mineral flavor too. Very drinkable.

Aroma: Caramel malt aroma, some hop but not much, some buttery notes as well Appearance: Copper colored, very clear, low head retention Flavor: Caramel, malty flavor with some earthy hop. Bitterness is moderate but with some underlying sweetness. Bready malts. Diacetyl is there, but not detracting. Mouthfeel: Medium-light mouthfeel. Overall: I liked this beer. Some people may find the diacetyl a bit much, but I found it to be a nice ale, and easy to drink.

Sweet floral hops play with caramel malt in the nose. Pale amber colour with two finger white head that diminishes to a thick cover. Caramel very noticeable in the flavour, balanced by a good, strong bitterness. Fruitiness appears in the finish. Lively carbonation and medium body. An excellent pale ale. Very enjoyable. Bottle.

Nice amber beer with cumulus off-white head. I swear the aroma is like milk chocolate chips; at first the beer flavor is roasted grain, bran-nut, and finishes sweet.

My favorite of the Shipyards. Sweet, but not filling. Goes down easy with the hint of apple flavoring.
