Gravity cask condition, The Chambers, Folkestone. Copper colour with lasting beige head. Soft bitter. Slightly creamy. Bit of farty yeast. As I say, soft in mouth. Some hop. It’s fine, good defined flavours, just not hugely exciting.

Cask (handpump), Wetherspoons Piccadilly, Manchester. Amber/orange colour. Slightly estery fruity aroma. Nice balance of sweetish fruity malt and citric hop. Very clean mouthfeel. Smooth aftertaste with just a hint of sharp bitterness.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Wig & Pen, Northampton. A golden orange coloured beer with a white head. At first the aroma and taste are thin and quite boring, with just a hint of hop, but then late on a marmalade like note comes through and actually gives a pretty decent flavour. Intriguing and nice enough.

Cask, Golden, dull with an off-white head. Aromas are tea with hints of nuttiness. Green hops with spices. Flavours are woody and dry with tea. Hints of sulphur. Has a bitter finish.

Cask in the counting house. Aroma is minimal, malty and peppery notes come through. Taste is similar, balanced and richer than expected. Tasty though.
