Cask (handpump), Wetherspoons Piccadilly, Manchester. Amber/orange colour. Slightly estery fruity aroma. Nice balance of sweetish fruity malt and citric hop. Very clean mouthfeel. Smooth aftertaste with just a hint of sharp bitterness.

Cask at Wetherspoons in Wimbledon, 2nd April 2008. Orange gold with a suprisingly malty Horlicks aroma. But thankfully the taste is nicely balanced with some good back of the mouth bitterness. It’s got the right weight for easy drinking. A good new bitter from Ringwood.

Cask in the counting house. Aroma is minimal, malty and peppery notes come through. Taste is similar, balanced and richer than expected. Tasty though.
