Practically no aroma, but for a faint grapey hint. Taste is sweet and grass, also with a a hint of grape. Alcohol is mildly present in taste, but offset slight bitterness in finish. $2/22oz JPDIPSO (4939), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 2, 2006 Deep golden color with a hint of orange. Just a lid of bubbles left. Alcohol infused malt and dry flowers. Some dry wood and grain also in the nose. Thin feel. Grainy and alcohol flavors. Some light fruit including white grapes, which seem to be prevalent in many of these eastern euro strong lagers. A mild herbal bitterness helps balance some of the sweetness, but still quite sweet and sticky. It is what it is, a strong euro lager. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 7, 2006 Bottle purchased at Lukas Liquor in Kansas City. The body is dark gold with a bright white head. The aroma is sweet grainy corn with some flowers. The taste is sickly sweet with some honey and sweet potatoes. There is also some peanut shell in the finish. Not too bad for a large beer. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 27, 2006 Interesting, some what malt liqour-ish (not to e mistaken with malted licorice), alcohol bite, kind of a dull winey grapey flavor, different for sure, may be the first beer I’ve ever had from Africa wxman (592), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 25, 2006 Picked this up at a liquor store in Kansas City. Dark golden color with a short-lived white head. Aroma of brown sugar and jet fuel. Tongue-coating sweet malt taste along with corn and alcohol. Soft characteristics, surprisingly not astringent. Burning alcohol feel after the swallow. For a malt liquor this stuff is fairly well balanced. thegreenrooster (1846), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jul 22, 2006 Pour is yellow with a small white head. Aroma is of very thick malts with no hops. Flavor is very thick and syurpy. Like drinking honey. Very sweet and thick. Not real good in all catagories. tomxcs (315), Golden, Colorado, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 18, 2006 Pours clear golden, very light amber color with a big, lasting head and lightish carbonation. Aroma is light kerosine and sweet malts, very light grassy hops. Tastes moderately of vodka and sweet, grainy malts, with hot fusel alcohols in the back of the throat, yet altogether pretty smooth and drinkable for a high-octane lager. Not worth the liver damage but not horrible either.
