| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 9, 2009 Since the last one tasted strong, I thought I might as well have one that is. LIght golden color with a tight bubbled off-white head and a heavy sheet of lace. An interesting scent of limburger cheese, grain, white grapes and hints of higher alcohols. As it sets an odd spice component works its way in with allspice and cinnamon. After the first sip applesauce come to mind. A lightly spice apple sauce flavor along with a bit of honey. Alcohol seems to bring out the sweetness throughout, but never shows itself completely. A dessert type of brew. Thicken this a bit and it would be great over baked apples and ice cream. I’m not finding this as industrial as many a brews in this genra. I’m mildly impressed. I really do not feel like I must dump this one. brianprentiss (475), Portland, Oregon, USA
