Athens, Ga. - Five Points Bottle Shop - 500 ml. bottle. Pours a dull medium orange with no head whatsoever. Slight aroma of hard candy and some strong lager funkiness. Heavy presence of alcohol at the first gulp. Sugary sweetness with some maple syrup and cotton candy. Mouthfeel is too stickyh and slightly oily. Passable and better than a malt liquor.

Tastes a little like a caramel apple with a bit of hops. Like a high gravity A-B.

Clear amber pour with a thin white head. Fruit and biscuit aroma. Same taste. Very smooth and clean taste but nothing is really great about it.

Since the last one tasted strong, I thought I might as well have one that is. LIght golden color with a tight bubbled off-white head and a heavy sheet of lace. An interesting scent of limburger cheese, grain, white grapes and hints of higher alcohols. As it sets an odd spice component works its way in with allspice and cinnamon. After the first sip applesauce come to mind. A lightly spice apple sauce flavor along with a bit of honey. Alcohol seems to bring out the sweetness throughout, but never shows itself completely. A dessert type of brew. Thicken this a bit and it would be great over baked apples and ice cream. I’m not finding this as industrial as many a brews in this genra. I’m mildly impressed. I really do not feel like I must dump this one.

Bottle. Poured golden with a frothy white head. Floral aroma with citrus, honey and light alcohol. The flavor found floral, caramel, honey, straw, and light tart fruits. Medium body.
