Lots of sweet graininess. Reminds me of all the other russian high alcs that i’ve had. Just a little easier to drink. Not that bad, especially considering the abv. dm9831 (1168), Monee, Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 18, 2008 clear deep yellow color, white quickly disappearing head. no real lacing, but tiny bubbles did stick to side of glass. mild sweet corn nose. flavor is corn and sugar sweetness with floral hints. oily mouth feel, sweet finish. maybe this beer would go good with caramel popcorn balls, but the sugary sweetness is a detriment and the 9.5% abv, although very welcome, is undetectable, except when walking. ot typink. a mild disappointment. single bottle purchase at "binny’s beverage depot" in orland park. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 18, 2008 16.9 oz bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Orland park,IL. It poured a deep golden body and the head vanished before I could reflect for long on its appearance. No lacing. The aroma was sweet and grainy with a touch of creamed corn and a quiet floral hopping. Somewhat oily palate. It tasted of sweet grain, old sugar, alcohol, and Cook County, IL, well water. The finish was sweet and had a whallop of alcohol. Drinkable, but not Rinkuškiai’s best. MakeItDrinkIt (66), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 14, 2008 Shimmering deep golden hue with a medium white head. Aroma is lightly sweet, a touch nutty, lightly floral. Flavor is somewhat sweet, but a touch metallic, and alcoholic. Definitely leaves a light metallic finish after all else is gone. A bit like a cheaply made malt liquor, with a funky label that should probably be covered with a brown paper bag! tristan13 (7), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 9, 2008 bad aroma. thin flavor with sweet finish. bad aftertaste. very tinny. would not try again. nick76 (2694), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 2, 2008 The aroma is unpleasant malt and rather non descript. Maybe a hint of hops and metal. The appearance is pale gold with almost no head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s not worth having. I can’t figure out what is has to do with lobster. daddyslick (36), Arizona, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 2, 2008 yes, the name is funny, but seriously, it takes more than a name to keep me drinking a beer. This beer pours yellow with a white head which leaves quickly. It tastes much the way a pure extract beer might. Very sweet at first and then a very bitter taste fills the mouth just after swallowing, and then all trace of the beer is gone.
