Aroma is actually quite nice...lots of sweet malt, corn, some faint hops, and a splash of citrus and honey mixed in for good measure. Flavor is sweet with some dark fruit accents in at the beginning, Alcohol is VERY prevalent from start to finish..., and definitely has a warming sensation on the after-palate. Too carbonated as well...very bubbly and hard to drink quickly. Finish is very tinny and somewhat unpleasant. Oh well, wasn’t expecting a miracle out of this one, so I’m not depressed. I can say I grabbed life by the claws tonight! DerBiermeister (524), Birmingham, Alabama, USA

It is a Slavic style high ABV brew with not especially much going on. That is one side. On the other side I appreciate the high ABV and size because I know it will be more satisfying as a beer. On the whole, I give it a good rating, due to its good value, especially as a cheaper beer. LinusStick (1852), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

A little cinnamon with pale malt. Pour was a thick nasty medium light gold with no head or bubbles. Taste had a sugary cinnamon taste with medium carbonation and a stale sticky moutfeel and aftertaste. Terrible. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 23, 2008 Deep golden in color, faint, fast diminishing head. Sweet malt nose and flavor. Imperial swill in its finest. Straw and grainy flavor, sweet with honey merit and sweating the alcohol out any way it can. Thick on the palate, sort of that sticky quality that Dr. Pepper gives, flavors stick to the palate in an oily sort of sensation. But... I love lobster, so I gave it a shot. bigrond (1055), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA

Thick, syrupy body. Nose of corn and boozy grains. Cloying and faintly hopped. very biting and hard to take. This is like a cheap malt liquor. Not very satisfying.
